Richard Aitkenhead founded IDC Group in 1995. He has 25 years of experience in economic and financial advisory services as well as mergers and acquisitions. He serves on the Board of Directors of several important companies in the region and served on the Board of Directors of two universities, INCAE Business School and Universidad Rafael Landívar. He has participated in important real estate projects in Guatemala, including Condado Naranjo, a commercial and residential development project and La Reunion, a residential and hotel development project with a golf course in Antigua, Guatemala. He has also been involved in the government as Minister of Economics, Minister of Finance and participated in the negotiations of the Peace Treaty Agreement in Guatemala.

Mr. Aitkenhead has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Rafael Landívar, Guatemala.
